Blog-o-rama.

Okay kiddies, let's start with the get-to-know-you basics, eh. I'll lay it out, and you can judge me as you may.

Have I blogged before? ...Indeed, for years. And no, you're not going to get a link to those blogs.
Do I blog for work? ...Indeed again. It's fairly new... here it is.
Do I read other's blogs? ...Yep. My fave is an obvious one. I tend not to bookmark others, but bounce off from here. Keeps me from getting in a rut re: reading them. Let's me explore a bit more. Even if it is the world according to Ms West (fine world that this is of course).

Library 2.0?
As comfy as I am with spending increasing amounts of time online, I do find that there are some things that I don't bother with.
So many things get thrown at us.
And only some applications stick. *eeew*

RSS feeds: whatever. Have lived without them happily so far. Am I really going to waste brain space on this?
MySpace: total pain in the bum. But keeps me in touch with some people.
Facebook: a delicious waste of time, but *egads!* it actually works for social networking!
Flickr: sweet. I don't use it enough, but I like it.
Wikipedia: a guilty love. Like Google, I feel like a 'bad librarian' for taking a cheats way of answering some reference queries. But do try to use them both more for a springboard into the more 'reputable' sources.
*sighs*

And your favourite applications and online haunts? Hmmm...
